TUNED 3.3 FAST ADJUST SHOCKS, KEY BENEFITS

  • 10 compression damping settings with the 3.3 fast adjust knob
  • Internal SP2 free bleed adjustment allows for 2 distinct tune profiles
  • Increase in comfort and vehicle control
  • Enhanced cornering stability
  • Reduced sway and wind buffeting
  • Controls large and small bumps more effectively than factory shocks
  • 100% bolt on with basic tools

Tuned shock absorbers are one of the best bang for the buck upgrades for any vehicle. Proper damping can make or break the ride comfort and vehicle control, and low quality factory units are quickly overwhelmed. Falcon's shocks represent a pinnacle of intelligent deign. Built to our specifications and tune, we've applied everything we've learned over the years of tuning custom and modified vehicles to bring increased levels of comfort, compliance, and control to adventure vans and RV's. With a superior damper, we're able to effectively reduce sway from wind and obstacles, while simultaneously controlling large and small bumps more effectively.

Falcons's 3.3 Fast adjust shocks technical features:

  • 2.3" aluminum body dissipates heat and resists corrosion.
  • Full 2" Damper piston (238% increase over stock)
  • 3/4" diameter hard chromed shaft resists impact and corrosion.
  • High pressure nitrogen charge ensures cavitation free operation

The red 3.3 fast adjust knob combines industry leading adjustment range with intuitive and easy compression adjustment while the shock is installed. Position 1 is the lightest setting, great for blasting down washboard roads or rough city streets. Position 2 is a mid setting with 8 micro adjustments, a great way to dial in the ride and handling setting for daily driver preference. Position 3 is the firmest setting, used for occasional heavy loads or when driving conditions require the most control. The SP2 mode adjust feature is an internal bypass port (free bleed circuit) set during installation. Closing off this port drastically changes the shock rebound and compression characteristics and essentially allows us to put 2 tune profiles into one shock. This setting is chosen when installing the shocks based on vehicle weight and ride preference. The shocks are manufactured as left and right pairs. The 3.3 fast adjust knob is placed in a spot that is easy to see and adjust.

    5 stars is not enough.

This is hands down the best possible upgrade you can do to your van. It makes it feel like a luxury German vehicle again. I can’t wait to put the front ones on. All of the annoying bouncing and swaying is a thing of the past as you accelerate out of the corners instead of bracing to hear everything smashing around in the back of your rig. So good! Thank you. It took me 30 minutes to put these on and didn’t even need lift the van or take off the tires. If you are considering buying these, do it, you won’t regret it.

Yes them are as good as people say

Before I purchase the rally struts and rear adjustable units with all the supporting brackets. I watched and read all the usual suspects rave about the van compass suspension. It a cargo van how good can it really be, well they are right it was impressive, could not be happier. Also I installed this myself and was astonished by the clear instructions and everything fit perfectly. This is something I don’t see often even when you pay a premium.

Great product but the installation documentation is incomplete

The product is well designed but the documentation has a lot of room to improve. For example, if you have a factor HID light, you cannot use the included bung on the driver side. This is not documented anywhere and only when you call them, they will tell you to use a stack of washers. The support guy Mike is super friendly to be clear but I don't know why VC won't update the installation process so that customers don't have to get stuck. Secondly, the shock installation picture shows a washer is needed. Again, this is outdated information. The new falcon shock is built for Sprinter as such no washer is needed. The product itself is great and definitely has improved the vehicle's handling. If they can update the installation instructions, I'd be happy to update the rating.

    Worth every penny

I had a pair of Fox shocks on my van, one leaked all the oil out in 4 months. I wasn't happy about eating those and buying another pair. I did my research and went with these Falcons. I am very happy with the ride now. I have about 1k pounds of tools at all times, I got the 8,500+ version and they are set to the firmest ride. Only thing I would change is to have adjustments firmer, A+
