The wait is finally over, behold the new Inverted Monotube Rally Strut for the Ford Transit, jointly developed over the last 3 years with Falcon. This innovative damper brings the same game-changing performance to the Transit platform we brought to the Sprinter market!
Based on the same proven inverted architecture used in the Sprinter, these inverted struts offer a huge increase in load bearing surface area over an OE strut. The larger damping piston and monotube design allows for a huge improvement in the ability to dissipate big hits, control top out, and keep on road sway in check.
Designed specifically to AWD size specifics, there is no need to worry about added stress on CV boots. Engineered to work with our Topo lift kit, or on stock vans, the adjustable preload grooves allow the installer to fine tune installed ride height. New sway bar links are included. Struts are sold as a matched pair.

I have a 2019 Transit 350 with a QLift 4x4 conversion, and I’m extremely impressed with the improvement in ride quality. The front-end shake is completely eliminated. Paired with Falcon 3.3 adjustable rear shocks, these struts are the upgrade I’ve been waiting for.
I've only put a few miles on the van so far, but the results were immediately obvious. This is an absolute game changer for the Transit. Adding these will make you wonder how you ever drove your van without them.
Given the quality of the product and the results, I am happy to give 5 stars. I will say that there needs to be more guidance on whether you need the 3/16" spacers to fit the new struts. The struts are larger in diameter than OEM, and there are tight tolerances between the tire and the strut, depending on your offset and tire size. That said, it’s totally worth the delay to get the spacers.
If you drive your Transit on/off road as much as we do, this is a no brainer.
So far I am loving my new struts! The van is so much more stable on windy days and windy roads.
Hands down performance improvement out the door. Combined with Topo kit and LCA's its about as good as can get. But note 2023 AWD with stock steel wheels and 245/70R16 will absolutely require 3/16 spacer to clear oversized strut body, and then still marginal with minimal clearance.
