Improve the ride quality and stance of your Ford Transit AWD with the Stage 4 Topo 2.0 package. This tuned suspension system will dramatically improve your ride quality and our Topo kit was developed specifically to work around the packaging and front CV shaft constraints presented by the 2020+ AWD Transit platform.
Our Topo 2" lift kit includes a precision engineered 0.75" lift camber correction plate, with a tuned coil spring. By engineering the spring length and rate to our specifications we gain 1.25" of lift, with a corresponding increase in compression travel. A 5 leaf mini pack works in conjunction with the factory leaf pack to provide a 10-15% spring rate increase in the rear while lifting the back of the van anywhere from 2.0" to 2.5" depending on vehicle weight. Friction reducing tips on our leaves ensure a smooth, quiet ride. Included rear shock relocation brackets allow for the low hanging factory brackets to be trimmed, resulting in better overall ground clearance under the axle tube.
Adjustable Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjust Shocks feature a huge range of compression adjustment available at the simple flip of a large, easily accessed Fast Adjust knob. This allows you to quickly adjust from the softest to firmest settings over a significantly larger range than the competition's smaller adjusters. A larger range of adjustment means the shocks are more effective and adaptable to multiple modes of use.
(Bilstein B6 strut are not included with AWD systems, their added length can cause CV boot failure)

Initial thoughts of this Stage 4, Topo 2.0 kit were amazing, I drove on a twisty paved highway for 45min and it felt so good! I was really happy until I went down a dirt road with potholes everywhere. It was all going really well until I hit a pothole that had a sharp lip to it…. BANG!! When the front suspension went to full droop it made a horrible sound that scared my wife and I! We thought we broke something. I didn’t see anything wrong so we carried on, and sure enough the next pothole the same thing happened! This meant that I had to drive slower down this dirt road than I had previously with the stock suspension.
I went on some forums and found that this is an issue with this kit, I wish that someone had left an honest review on here so I didn’t make the mistake of putting this on my van. I would have gone with a Quigly lift on the front instead. If you’re looking for a suspension upgrade so you can drive on rough roads at higher speeds look somewhere else. Unless you don’t mind hearing terrible sounds come from your front suspension.
The rear suspension with the leafs and adjustable shocks are fantastic, major improvements there, just wish there was a way to stop the loud bang from the front.
I bought and had installed the Topo 2.0 suspension upgrade which includes the additional rear spring pack. Was told by manufacturer and this distributer that the springs were quiet unless very dirty and then the easy fix was to spray with a dry lubricant. Turns out that they were squeaky from the day I picked our Ekko up and just got more creaky and louder as time passed. I brought to the installer who checked the bolt torques and sprayed down the spring pack. Very little improvement. Another round of calls to manufacturer and Van Compass resulted in more particular instructions to lift the body of RV to de-weight the springs, spray with a pressure washer, allow a day to dry, then spray with the dry lubricant. It worked 100% BUT was super labor intensive. On my back under the vehicle soaked while pressure washing the inside of the springs and took a lot of inginuity to figure how to get enough lift on the body to completely de-weight the springs. Not a job for a normal floor pump jack for sure. Also, I'm concerned about how long the silence will last before noise comes back. Worth considering before purchasing for sure. To be fair, the Ekko really overwhelms the stock springs so these were needed and the kit was amazing in improving the ride but am stung by the lack of transparency concerning the maintenance.
Awesome add-on, it make the van drive much smoother. Really worth it
We hit some bumps in the road because our client had a Transit Trail and as a result needed to have U bolts made for an additional cost. This delayed the installation of the kit but everything else was straightforward. They were a phone call away regarding setup finalizing for the rear leaf packs and were eager to help us to the finish line. The instructions are easy to follow for those who are doing the lift in their driveway.
I spoke to the folks at Van Compass and boy was I happy I did that. I was looking for a suspension lift of 3-4 inches in the rear. (I have the extended version of the Transit.) It was recommended that I also purchase the longer shackles for the rear leaf springs for an additional 1 inch of lift. I am very happy that I purchased both. I ended up with a 5 inch lift in the rear and 2.5 inch lift in the front. Looks great and I am no longer scraping the tow hitch when going in or out of driveways. The van looks great and I can't wait to go camping. We had a few difficulties during the install, not related to the Van Compass equipment, extending the installation time. It took 2 of us, one being a mechanic, almost 16 hours to complete the job. The pinch weld and plastic modifications for the front tires took about 3 of those 16 hours to complete. And we were working on the ground as well. Overall, I am very happy with the completed product and I highly recommend this project to Transit RV Owners. Kudos to Van Compass for putting a great product together. It has made the van handle much better.
