REAR MINI SPRING PACK - SPRINTER 4x4/AWD (2015-UP 2500 ONLY) by VAN COMPASS

We installed the Van Compass 3-leaf rear mini spring pack on our 2023 AWD Sprinter 2500 passenger van to correct rear sag. The van now sits higher in the back, looks much better, and drives great. We paired it with Agile 2.0 rear shocks. I’m very happy with the result.

Boxed/packed very well, Scott @ VC answered my questions well. Installed in advance of a buildout, 170 EXT. Installation was straightforward for two guys with the right tools, two floor jacks and TALL jackstands + three C-Clamps. Instructions were good. FYI, the OEM spring U-Bolt nut's are SUPER tight. Required a LONG breaker bar, with pipe extension to break loose, just FYI, not a VC fault. The spring centering U's (aiming up) 3/8 bolt spacer sleeves began to crush before the specified torque, so I stopped there. I would recommend sending with lock-nuts or Nylok. I'll likely replace the stock nuts with Nylok. You'll also see the round nylon wear pads between the new leafs are lubed, so I cleaned the lower/bottom side of the 2nd OEM spring where these new spring wear pucks will touch, and put a very light film of waterproof super-slick grease at that spot.
Empty weight (not built yet) ride felt very good, NO stiffer nor any increased freeway expansion strip or pothole jarring than stock. Crosswind lean felt much better. The true evaluation test will be after the buildout weight drive, so I cannot judge that yet. Overall, installed and peform as expected for an empty van that already had a bit of rear-end sag. Yes, it added height from the bottoming bumper to it's seat almost exactly as stated (1.25"), now the rear wheelwell "tire-fill" matches the front. Will follow up.

These springs were the perfect solution. My van was sitting low with a swing base and cargo box and the spring pack corrected the problem. Great advice from VC

Just put this on before hauling a ~4500lb trailer about 3000 miles. Barely any sag in the rear even with ~1000 lb build out on my 24 awd 170. I should have done this at the beginning. Helps with the rocking on slow, bumpy dirt roads. First side took me 90 minutes, second took 30.

Easy install and works great, had recommended for a few friends the own mb sprinter.
